█ The EtherLink III adapter is not supported by the IBM OS/2 EE NOS. █
█ The utility program on the EtherDisk diskette lets you install the █
█ EtherLink III adapter driver to an OS/2 EE server. Make sure that you █
█ have selected the EtherLink II adapter as the network controller during █
█ the OS/2 EE server installation (refer to your IBM OS/2 EE installation █
█ manual). The CONFIG.SYS file in the root directory and the PROTOCOL.INI █
█ file in the CMLIB directory must not be modified after installation. █
█ █
█ The utility program on the EtherDisk diskette copies the EtherLink III █
█ OS/2 NDIS driver to the CMLIB directory. Next, it will copy and modify █
█ your existing CONFIG.SYS and PROTOCOL.INI files to use the EtherLink III █
█ driver when the system is rebooted. If this operation is not successful, █
█ the original CONFIG.SYS and PROTOCOL.INI files remain unchanged. Before █
█ the modified CONFIG.SYS and PROTOCOL.INI files are installed, the █
█ original files are copied to the files CONFIG.OLD and PROTOCOL.OLD. █
█ █
█ You can customize the new PROTOCOL.INI file for your specific needs. █
█ After the installation is completed, make sure that you can boot the █
█ system. Modify the PROTOCOL.INI file using the editor of your choice. █
